Question separate playlists

after quite a bit of time planning my changeover to a laptop based karaoke presentation i wondered if is it possible to import into hoster two different groups of discs. as an examle,in one file on the external hard drive have your soundchoice foundation discs and in another file on the same external hard drive your (ex) dk milleniums. will the book id continue on from one to the other? i realize the first question that arises is why would you do that? probably so you don't have a 450 page book by the time you finish importing all your discs? just wondering if its possible so maybe i can get a little creative with my inputs. any input would be appreciated.

You can import into multiple folders. As long as the folders are listed in the rebuild database folder list then the BookIDs will be continuous.
If I understand you correctly you want to have seperate songbooks for each folder. When you get ready to create your songbook, remove all but the folder you want to create the songbook for from the rebuild database list, rebuild the database and it will contain only those songs in that folder. Then create your songbook. Go to the songbook folder and rename the file to associate it with the folder and also keep Hoster from overwriting it. Change to the next folder in the rebuild database and repeat until you have created all of the seperate songbooks. Then re-add all the folders back to the rebuild database list and rebuild again so Hoster can find all of your songs when you want to play them.

ADMIN please note I responded to his duplicate thread, maybe you'll want to marry the 2 up.

Mine said pretty much the same thing but from a little different angle.
