singer's own discs
is there a way to play a singer's own disc without interrupting the show to copy it? also, what is the legality issue on copying someone else's disc so they can sing it?

It all comes back to, You must own the disc to play it at a show. Adding songs from a Singer's disc in Hoster shouldn't interrupt your show. I use singers disc's all the time. Why does it interrupt your show?

You can import a singers disc while you are doing a show. It shouldn't cause you any problems.

Read the manual on importing from a singer's disc. You don't go to the Import from CD selection.
Across top you have CDG, MP3, Video etc. buttons. Use the CDG button. Fill in which track #, Singers Name and Title of the song. Then click OK button and the track will be imported, added to the playlist, and only saved until they sing it, then it is erased. This can be done while another singer is singing without interfering with the current singer.

The fact that the track is erased from your hard drive after being played takes care of the legality issue. You do not retain a copy.
