Recorded Cdg Dropped Out Of Data Base

I HAD OVER 550 CDG`S RECORDED, PRINTED BOOKS AND EVERTHING WAS GREAT. I USE LAPTOP AND EXTERNAL DRIVE. TOOK THE EXT. DRIVE OFF LAPTOP AND PUT ON NEW COMPUTER (OLD ONE CRASHED AND BURNED. DESK TOP UNIT I HAD USED BEFORE TO RECORD) I HAVE REINSTALLED HOOSTER ON NEW COMPUTER NO PROBLEM. I HOOKED UP EXT. DRIVE. AND WENT TO BUILD DATA BASE. pROB.... IT DROPPED CDGS 374 THRU 545 JUMPED FROM 373 TO 546 ????? I GO TO RECORD NEW CDGS AND IT SHOWS THE NUMBER AS 1 WHEN I HIT NEXT. HAVE TO PUT IN THE NEXT NUMBER SUCH AS 580 THEN IMPORT TO EXT. HARDDRIVE AND IT WORKS (ADDED TO DATABASE) ON MY OLD COMPUTER THE EXT. DRIVE WAS RECOGNIZED AS DRIVE G. ON THE NEW COMPUTER IT COMES US AS K . I HOPE I DON`T HAVE TO RERECORD OR IMPORT 17O PLUS CDG`S. HELP HELP PLEASE OH IT ALSO SHOW 0 EVERYTIME FOR NEW TRACKS RECORDED.
