3.301 issue
I have been trying to download the 3.301 upgrade. I have saved to discs and hard drive. It will take the set up, but will not complete the upgrade. As you can see by your records, I have used 5 download to try to complete this. Do I need to purchase the cd-rom to complete my upgrade? I also noticed today, 2/12/06 that it says the mtu store is down. Is it still down? and is this why I can't download my upgrade? I have un-installed and re-installed 3.3 several times, to no avail, as far as the uipgrade goes. Am I supposed to un-install 3.3 to complete the upgrade? There are no clear instructions. I have 3.3 up and running, and prepared for my regular Tuesday nmight show; but will the 3.301 be ready for my Saturday show?

What happens when you are downloading the File?
Have you been able to download from our site before? When you run the 3.301 Setup it will do everything that it needs, and it will uninstall the 3.300 version. It will then also have to connect to the Internet to complete the install. If you still can't get the file then email me at support at mtu.com.

I have 3.30 on one laptop#1 with 5800 songs in usb HD, got 3.301 installed on laptop #2.
Will be transferring all songs to internal HD on laptop #2 tonite. Should I upgrade laptop #1 to 3.301 NOW? I have a show on Friday and want to bring TWO completely dependable units with me for that first show. What is MTU's advice for me two days before the first Hoster show as I hear a lot of unfavorable discussion from time to time on the 3.301 upgrade and not being able to import or accept songs and blah blah blah.....? ..I know I am being too nervous right? What do you think Beavis? |

It should work fine. I would just upgrade. Do it today or tommorrow so that you have time to fix it before your show on Friday.

I have noticed that people are still saying that the store acount has not been fixed yet. I assume that means a lot of us are not getting our 3.301 upgrades yet. I see the forum is working, is the email to mtu working? I would just like tio know, or have some idea when we can complete our upgrade. I have yet to be able to complete mine. I have asked if I needed to buy the cd-rom in order to complete my download. I have the set up saved on disc, and HD; but it won't complete. I have emailed mtu support, as requested. Have not heard back yet. I am assuming they are very busy with the server problem, etc. If the purchase of the cd will complete it, I will do that. If I need to wait until the store is fixed, I will do that. Just please let me know. I am happy with the product, but, there is one bug in 3.3 that I understand the 3.301 UG will fix. Trying to download a singer's disc during a show, and while it ' reads " the disc, the music lags down, ahead of the video. Is 3.301 a fix for this? I know MTU is doing what they can, and some of us are waiting patiently for the fix. Hanging in there, Daryl.

Thank you Doug, my 3.301 upgrade went through fine. I have sent another issue to critical. Re; singer's disc and ther music slowing down while the music is playing.
