Can I storage more karaoke songs into a dvd?

I would like to know. I have a dvd compatible karaoke player,if I burn karaoke songs into a DVD media using Microstudio and a DVD-RW drive, is it possible to storage more karaoke songs in it compared with a regular CD-R to play them in my player?
