Re: compressor/limitor and normalization??

If one isn't familiar with or proficient in applying compression, limiting and normalization, it is best to disable this when importing songs into Hoster. Otherwise, you stand the chance of your songs sounding worse with the possibility of the sound being distorted, etc.

Re: compressor/limitor and normalization??

yeah,

I'm using a 128 ratio on my disk but I was talking about the compression on the import tools option like what gduns said...! I was wondering more about the normalization?? But I think I rather leave it alone and not have any problems...I like the thought of all the songs have the same loadness but I don't want to have any distortion either...I already adjust everything anyways sound, singers.....I'm picky about sound!!! Well thanks for the info ....appreciate it!

Question Re: compressor/limitor and normalization??

I'm working on making beats at the moment, and i was wondering if anybody in here would like to offer some advice on what is compression/limiting normalization, and how to use it. If somebody knows about this, pleasy try to reply if u can and if you're not busy. I also have a question on how to make my beat sound really loud without the song exceeding the peaks so no distortion occurs. Thanks. Appreciate it.

Read the Hoster manual chapter on it. The writeup is extensive with many graphic images to make it more visible.
