Using an Internal plextor with an external USB case?

I just purchased a laptop and will be downloading hoster to run my shows. I currently have an Internal PlexWriter PX-w5224TA that I purchased from MTU and was wondering if it was possible to use it with my new laptop. The quote below is from a KJ who says that he used an internal plextor and an external 2.0 USB case to transfer his CD+G's to his laptop. Is this possible and if so where can I purchase the external 2.0 USB case? Thanks, BOB

Plextor burners is what they recommend and mine works very well. Buy an external one (or an internal one and an external 2.0 USB case like I did, it's cheaper and works fine) and you will be able to use it with your laptop and your home PC.
I use an external hard drive as well. Same deal as with the burner, it's an internal with an external case.
