usb dongle
Okay can anyone here explain why I do not need to use my usb dongle anymore as I understood that the security for this programme was taken from the mac id that we supplied or is that no longer the case

sounds like they are using your windows serial number.

Because of the problems we had with many users not having a Network card/MACID code, we evolved our new security to no longer require a MACID. It is a complex many-component fingerprinting that is safe, repeatable, and available on all machines.

How many components?
How many components can we change/upgrade before hoster thinks that it's on a different machine?
