Hoster 2.010 Update

I see that hoster 2.010 is now released, can we use our existing download links, or do we need new links? Is there a way we can download the upgrade instead of waiting for the CD to be sent out? Thanks,

Mike

its still in beta testing ?

i think MTU should not set an exact date for upcoming releases. just say sometime in april !!! this way you have a 30 day period to release new versions.

Hoster 2.0 HAS BEEN released!

If you read the news page, it'll tell you when to expect your CDROM.

jaddams,
I know I'm just being impatient, but you didn't answer my question... Is there no way to download the update instead of waiting for the CD, I was hoping to have it installed and running for the weekend...How about future updates to the database, will they be available on the web or will we have to get new CDs each time the database is updated?

Thanks again,
Mike

Sorry Mike, can't help you with that. I have nothing to do with MTU, I am just someone who helps in the Forums and beta test some of their products.

Anything about shipping or downloading you need to contact MTU directly at:

http://www.mtu.com/support/contact-mtu.htm

Good luck,

Jon

2.0 release

Tomorrow, the CDROMs with your Hoster ID number and all Hoster 2.0 install components will be shipped to all owners.

We cannot access individual Hoster ID codes at this time. Only write them to a CDROM in our automated process. Please, do not email or ask us for your personal code at this time. It will be very time consuming to try to help you, and we are swamped with lots of projects, and the Easter Holiday.

We NEED a break after this whirlwind effort!

You will want to test with Hoster 2.0 for several hours or shows before you run a new public show with it. That is always good advice for any new software release. As JADDAMS and our other honored beta testers know, we have done a LOT of work, and they have found a LOT of bugs. We all hope they found them all.

I have just sent an email announcement to all Hoster owners, so look for it.

Thanks for waiting. We all think we have done a very good update, and hope all the things you wanted are there. If not, please post your requests in the Hoster New Features Forum where we will be looking for them.

Thanks for waiting!
