Smile George's wife speaks up!

Although I am making my first post to this forum, I am not new to MTU products. I have watched my husband making his own CDGs and having a blast doing it. Well, this week-end I told him "Let me make one." On Saturday I did all the preparation which included finding and downloading a music midi file, lyrics, and graphics. Sunday I put it all together. About an hour later I watched my completed production playing on my pc. With standby assistance I produced a CDG track that looked just as professional as any that we have bought.

Karaoke Home Producer and Microstudio are so user-friendly that I would recommend MTU without reservation.

Talking Hooray For You

I have had my wife helping me with some of the songs I am not familiar with as I hammer the space bar. Getting ones spouse involved in these projects is quite fun. She had not attempted to make her own yet, but maybe in time.
Keep it up, and I agree that MTU has produced a product that is so user friendly I can actually use it.
By the way, I concur on the midi files I have been working with, again we should thank KJZone for introducing us to the Edirol program that changes a cheezee midi file to one that sounds almost as good as those you purchase on a mfg. cd+g.

Have fun and keep hammering on the space bar.

Jerry

EDIROL HAS ARRIVED

Brilliant, smashing super. What a tool.

I have made a load of New Order and OMD cdgs already. It works great on those 80's electro tunes.

The fun has just begun

Talking Hey Brian

Edirol is way too cool eh?
I have created what I think are some really good midioke (as George calls them) With a little searching, you can find some pretty good stuff to work with. You are right about the 80's stuff too. I found some gread tunes like McArthurs Park, Arthurs Theme just to name a few. This opens up a whole new game to creating cd+g's.
Have fun and rest the thumb every once in a while.

Jerry
