What do you mean you went to songs database? Did you open it under Tools or go to the file through Windows Explorer?
What operating system are you using?
What version of Hoster?
Where are your KMA files stored?

Re: i just deleted my whole karaoke database

First off the songs are not stored in the database file itself. When you import from the discs to Hoster, it puts a record in the database for each song imported and it creates a compressed copy of the disc file for that song either in a folder you choose or in a default folder C:\MTU\KMA files.

Make sure when you go to the Songs database, click on Rebuild and then look at the location in the dialog window. Make sure it is where those KMA files are located. If not then remove what is there and add the correct folder or folders.

How did you delete the songs? You should always use the Edit utility to delete any song files. This way they are not only deleted from the KMA folder but are also deleted from the Songs Database.

Re: i just deleted my whole karaoke database

How many files are in your KMA folder? Check with Windows Explorer. If there are only 630, then you will need to find the rest of them either in another folder or in the Recycle bin.
The key is where did you move them to?
Do a search in Windows Explorer and find out where all the KMA files are. Search for "*.KMA" and search all drives.
Remember the database is not where the actual song file is stored. They are in files named with the DiskID-Track.KMA, so unless you deleted all of those and emptied the Recycle Bin then all is not lost...just misplaced.
