VCD files

Hey Guys

I have imported my Original Footage Karaoke DAT files on my show machine but do not know how to add them to the database on my backup machine. Any ideas?

Cheers

Re: VCD files

Copy the folder with the DAT files and the KMH files to the backup computer. Open Tools/Songs Database and click on Rebuild. Add the folder path to the list of folders to rebuild from and then Rebuild.
Same way you would add KMA files except you have more to copy.

Re: VCD files

Did you copy the KMH files and did you put both DAT and KMH files in the same folder?
What was the message?

Re: VCD files

As far as I am aware VCD's have never shown in the programme window, only the show window. It probably has something to do with system resources required to run two videos simultaneously!

Re: VCD files

That player may not be set up for videos, Billy. Don't have any to try.

Re: VCD files

Ah! Sorry, I didn't read all of the thread since my last post!

I didn't know you could preview video in the edit mode. I can't wait to get home and try it!

Albert.

Re: VCD files

You can not preview a video on the edit screen, the way I'm doing it was I had hoster up on my show laptop and playing my vcd files to get the info I needed to edit the video files on my back up laptop
