Question What to do if Hoster refuses to recognize a CDG?

I have the latest version of Hoster 4.0. I bought a Chartbuster Megapack 18 months or so ago and due to health problems, did not open it until 6 months ago. It was supposed to have 6 discs (the Disco pack 468) but only came with 5. After talking with the supplier many times he had chartbuster send me the 6th disk. This one is stamped ESP468-06R. When I tried to load it into Hoster as usual the MFG + ID went to only disc 5. I tried online search and got nothing. Then I tried only Chartbuster [Vs CBESP 468] and it returned something different than what ws listed on the CDG Menu. When I tried to enter it manually [4 times!] as soon as I clicked on read track it rejected my input and went to a MFG in the S's (like Songbook series or whatnot) and gave me all unknowns - So I filled them in again and then it told me it was not a disk in the MFG 'S' series (I can't remember the exact MFG) and would not read the disk. Must I input it as a custom disk or is there another way to get it to work?

Tks, Kenng

Enter it with Chartbuster (nothing after it) and diskID CBEP468-6. Use Search Local Database. I am pretty sure this is the same disk. Check the Artist/Titles when it loads the names to make sure.

Thanks for the input, but what was returned wasn't what was on my CDG. I have now installed it as a custom disk ESP468-06-R. I had to input all the entries, and it is in the process of recording it now. So far it has spent over an hour on the 16 tracks. Not sure why, but when it finishes I have more new CDG's to load so I can see if it was the custom disc or if I have another problem.

The "R" means the disc had to be re-released with track changes, usually due to licensing problems.
