Hoster4.04 on XP - singers database REALLLLLY Slow

My wife was using her Shhuttle computer with plenty of Ram, 2Gb, and a very powerful video card, and no other programs running, and very few other installed programs, basically only used for Hoster shows; AND..
she noticed last night that the singers' database was extremely slow to open. She does not have that many singers in yet and the individual singers had less than ten songs each. She was saying that if some ppl come up and want to change their song right away, she would have to have them pause for a while instead of changing songs nearly instantly as she could before.

Is there a slowness there that can be programmed out of this database?

has anyone else noticed this?

Hey Bryant,
This has been seen by others as well. There is a thread on it.

Try leaving the Singer Database window open while running a show. I keep it off of the bottom of the screen so the Name entry box is visable. When I want to use it I just enter the name, double click on the top of the window and it goed full screen. When I'm done I minimize the window and it goes back where it was.
