upgrades

i've been thinking about this question for a while of weather i should ask this question or not ,and not being to look like the bad guy, but, i kinda noticed from what i've been reading in the forum, about locking up, crashing, lyrics not in sync with the words etc. during a show. but anyway , when you guys do your upgrades, do you upgrade both your main and back-up comp./laptops at the same time? what about ( just a suggestion ) if you just upgrade one laptop/comp. at first, and use the other for your show, that way you wont have to worry about if hoster is going to work at your show that night, that way mtu, wont be pressured and also to have some time to fix the ongoing glitches., which i think mtu knows most of the problems just by reading the forum. ( i haven't upgraded yet due to my ongoing sp3 problem) but anyway i feel better now that i got that question off my system..

This is smart advise Billy. I never run a show on a fresh Hoster upgrade. I always run the machine with the upgrade on it for a few hours before I take it to a show.

You will be able to run your shows with 4.03, the old player code is rock solid!

Be ready, be very ready!

that's good, having a back-up system is very important especially for all of us that uses our pc/laptop hosting karaoke shows, everybody knows that computer doesnt always work right..i have 2 of everything from my laptops to my pa system ( i got 3 pa systems ), i don't take them all, but i always have 2 speakers and 1 power amp and 1 mixing board loaded in my truck just in case my show system quit working, and specially if doing an out of town show..
