First, buy your CDG discs.
If you donload FREE MP3+G files and convert them to .bin or .cdg files and use them in public, this is illegal. The MP3+G sites pay no royalties, and one day all the folks who come to their sites will start being sued. It is only a matter of time!!!!!!
Don't get caught in their "visitors logs".
Second, get a CDG Certified CDR or DVDR burner to insure you have a drive that can read and write the CDG format. MOST DRIVES will not do this! The CDG format is very different from any other, and most manufacturers today have abandoned supporting it.
Third, buy MTU's Microstudio software.
Forth, buy quality CDR media. We have searched for years, and proven with users what the best media is. We sell our CDG Silver Media so you know it is the best possible. Some Karaoke Players won't read poorer quality CDR media. VERY FEW will read CDRW (rewritable) so don't even have any of these around. If you do, one day you will mess up and use one, then wonder why it won't play.
Make your backup copies of the DISCS YOU PURCHASED. This is legal.
If you make copies of your friends discs and keep the copies, this is illegal.
If you give your friends copies of your discs, this is illegal.
