On my table i have a table top EQ, a short mic stand & mic, a mute switch by Rolls, my lappy, my mouse pad & mouse, my table top cd player, and other assorted goodies. So unless i hear other suggestions, i guess i'll try the one on amazon. If i don't like it, i can always return it. Thanks much for the suggestions George
George,
I use a cooling pad that is an aluminum model, and is usb powered, and I do plug it into my laptop for power... I purchased this particular model because it had an extra usb connection, and my previous laptop had 3 usb ports, and the extra port on the cooling pad came in handy! I don't recall the model off the top of my head, but at tonights show, I'll copy it down and give it to you tomorrow. It came from Tiger direct and was about $30 two years ago... not had any problems with it and it stores in my carrying case with my backup laptop on top of it, which gives the soft sided carrying case a little more stability without much weight... but mostly it was the extra usb port that attracted me to this model of cooling pad/stand. Model and brand will be forthcoming tomorrow.
