I did this several times Saturday night without any problems with 5.04.09 and have not had this problem before!

Is anyone else having problems?
Do you mean Saturday with 5.03.09 not 5.04.
With your instabuttons, are some of them .wav files ?
I encountered problems with wave files that played in the earlier versions, I ended up converting my .wav files to mp3.
If you open the Tools/Instabuttons dialog look down the Dur column and see if any are showing 00.01 or less then check if they are a .wav format, If so I think these are the culprits, try unchecking them so they don't play and see if Hoster still crashes. If this cures it change them to mp3.

When you say the screen is minimized, are you referring to Hosters main dialog or the singers screen ?
If you mean it's main dialog try this: Right click the Hoster Icon select properties then select the shortcut tab, in the box next to "run" from the drop down arrow select "NormalWindow" then Apply and OK.
