Exclamation Error message: Cannot download fade/gain tables

There are several reasons this message can appear:

1. If the computer has become unstable and Microeditor cannot run correctly, this and other messages can appear. Shut the computer down and turn the power off. Wait 5-10 seconds and power it on again to start up. If the error message appears again, try one of the other solutions below.

2. If the computer power supply 5V line does not come up to voltage fast enough, the Krystal DSP Engine PCI-card will not be reset properly. This can be a bad power supply or one that is underrated for all the equipment features you may have added to your computer. Replace the power supply with a professional one of proper wattage. Be careful! New ATX power supplies can reset themselves and turn the computer off automatically if less than 50% of their power rating is being used. Thus, a 300W power supply needs to have at least 150 Watts being drawn through it.

3. If some newly installed hardware or software has been added at the same interrupt (IRQ) as Krystal uses, Krystal and Microeditor will not work. Change the IRQ settings of the offending product or Krystal (see the Installation Chapter in the Microeditor manual).
