i dont turn down
private gigs, ( except weddings ) if i get an offer to do bars/restaurants i always recommend friends that does karaoke for a living, same friends that asked me once in a while to help them host/set-up a show ( for free , i don't accept money from friends ) , luckily i have a good job working for the local gov't, and my wife is a surgical nurse, and also i wanted to spend some time w/ my 3 yrs. old daugter who couldn't get enough singing Hanna Montana/ Demi Lovatto songs...so luckilly i could kinda afford to turn /accepts job if i wanted to..
