First, you must run all of the Windows Updates. If you have not done ALL of the updates, this will occur.

Next, we just found that this is a bug in our security that only occurs with Windows 98SE or ME.

Work-Around! Install a network card. So for your older laptop, you need to get a USB network card and just plug it into the laptop. It doesn't have to be activated, just plugged in.

You can use a USB network module outside the Laptop if you don't have a port to plug into.

Our engineer is working on a fix for this, but it is not solved yet.
