Not sure if this is what you are asking but you can add tracks directly to a singers list via the search dialog in various ways.
1st way, open search dialog type singers name in top window, then enter search string, select song, then at the top right of search window is a small button icon with S+ on it, clicking on that will add it to both singers list and playlist, pressing it while holding down ctrl will just add it to singers list.
To see the songs in that singers folder press the small folder icon next to the singers name.
2nd way. if you have rotation list active right click in the rotation column and select add singers name, type a name then drag and drop songs from search window onto singers name.
3rd way if a song is in playlist highlight a singer in rotation list, right click on song and select Add to xxxx singers list.
