Re: Music Files

Was the song from Karaoke.net ?
Only songs from Karaoke.net will auto index, Karaoke-version or any other download sites have to be manually imported into Hoster.

There was a glitch recently with the auto indexing of songs brought about by changes that karaoke.net made when they increased their price from $1.99 to $2.45. The auto indexing problem has now been fixed.

If you open the Buy Songs/Karaoke.net dialog, press the Refresh Songs button then log into your account, you should then be able to tick the box for show only purchased songs.

If your song shows in that list tick the select box on the left and you will probably see a pop up message telling you that you will not be charged again for this song, now press the Buy Now button and it should auto index this time.

Karaoke version or any other suppliers songs have to be manually imported into Hoster via the Import Songs/Index song files Dialog.
I recommend creating a separate folder on your music Hard drive named something like “Downloaded Tracks” and place all your other downloaded tracks into it. Then brows to that folder from within the index songs files dialog, if you are importing video types then when the explorer window opens make sure the Files of types window is either showing All types or mp4 else you wont see your downloads. Most of the instructions appear to the left as you progress.
If your still stuck let us know.

I’ll answer your other question in a separate reply.
