Question Video problem

Maybe someone can offer a simple suggestion to solve a problem I'm having.

Lightning strike fried my Video card, (nVidea G-Force MX4400 AGP). So I went and bought a replacement card, (nVidea G-Force MX5200 AGP).

I installed the card, booted up and selected monitor 2 and checked "extend this monitor as secondary display". Then I rebooted and when windows was booting I got the boot screen on both monitors but I get nothing when windows is finished booting. No desktop graphics. The only reason I can think of is, maybe my Bios chip needs updated to be compatible with new video card technology or something. I will be doing some more testing this evening but, if anyone has any suggestions as to what my problem might be I would be grateful. I have read a lot of posts through the years about video problems and someone is usually always able to offer suggestions to solve the issue.

Thanks,
Wally
