Tabletop Upgrades?
....I've just purchased a used system from another fairly long-term MTU guy.
This system came with what appears to be the latest REV of the Tabletop box, but has no digital I/O installed. Internal board has handwritten Rev E in open white space, though the board has printing on it for Rev D, Nov. 1989 (I assume this was from an initial production run that was modified)...Handprinted serial number on the exterior of the box indicates it is balanced.
Two questions:
1)Can I purchase this upgrade (digital I/O) and/or the 4 channel analog upgrde?
2)Is the analog audio quality of this box the same as the 4 channel rackmount interface?
....I think this box will see some use in a portable rig for 16bit projects. I just want to know what flexibility is available.
