Yes, the only thing that didn't work for 64 bit on the old version was writing to disc this is now working for 64bit, I have it on my windows 7 laptop. You can read the actual changes here:

The layout and other functions are the same as before, most of the changes are to do with automatic notification of upgrades and some bug fixes.
So treat yourself and buy that new computer you've been waiting a long time for.
