I personally would use the Scan Now (Click to index new songs that you have downloaded onto your system quickly) button but select individual folders to scan. In that dialog you select a folder to scan prior to scanning, I don’t think you can choose to scan subfolders.

It depends on if any of the songs your importing are using an existing Dics id.

Providing that is not the case Hoster will Scan that folder and only import any new songs it finds leaving the existing in tact.
