Any Windows 2000/XP PC is capable of what you ask. Our Hoster software compresses the Karaoke CDG files into .kma files, using the WMA compression with the RW codes (CDG lyrics/graphics) included within to insure the audio and lyrics always remain in sync when playing.
Our Portable PC is a very nice system, for a whole lot less than a Laptop, and with larger and faster hard drives and a faster 48x CDG capable CDR drive.
