i don't understand why your internal drive is F: drive, it should be a C:drive, external drives are usually F: G: & E: , if you're going to replace F: ( internal ) with a G:( external ) once you put the G: drive in, that might turn to a C:drive and you won't be able to fid any of your files , and like Dale said you gonna have to delete F & G and and click on C and rebuild you song database, maybe i'm wrong but in my thinking that might happen. and if F: drive is your internal drive your OS in it, you wont be able to run your pc without it. do you have a 2 bay hhd slot , if thats the case yes you can swap it providing both hhd's are the same exact duplicate.
