With all the additional features added in 4.11 though this laptop meets the minimum requirements I suspect you will have more problems than just a clicking with the key change.
For one thing laptops use shared memory for the Video card, which means less than 1 GB of memory for the system to use. This can definately cause a problem. If you have already done all the recommended items from the manual, I would suggest try turning off un-needed background processes. This web site can help at darkviper.com.

As far as the clicking, you might check with Toshiba to see if they have an updated driver for the audio card.
You might also check to see if they have a memory upgrade for that laptop.
