bin file won't play

ok here I go
ver 2.609 Microstudio will play bin files & cd +g Karaoke disk in Plextor but not files mp3 & cdg lyrics

ver 4.20 or 4.21 will NOT play bin files & cd +g Karaoke disk in Plextor but will play files mp3 & cdg lyrics

I'm at a lost
