So, I went to MTU for help, the site said to go back and do a system restore. So, I did a system restore and it went back to the 4.06 version and every thing seemed to be working so I left it at that so I could do my show, figuring I'd deal with it later. Then a few days later I had some new discs of songs to add and Hoster would not let me add them. It was asking for some password. I turned in a fix it ticket, they said that I needed to delete the bucket.mdb and reinstall... well, I tried that and Hoster wouldn't let me install any version because it said that I had already used that reg. code to this computer... UGH!! Well, I did a system restore again and got the 4.06 on again,it seems to be working (to do a show) but I still can't add any new songs.... HELP (the only other thing I could think it might be is my video card failed a few months ago and I had to get a new system board/video card because they are embedded together in my computer. But, everything seemed to be working fine after the repair.
Nita I moved your post to a new thread because it isn't related to the other thread.
First your problem with the Bucket password is because 4.09d got a new upgraded Bucket and it has a new password so this Bucket will not work with previous versions.
Next, most likely by changing out the system board, MTU's server thinks this is a new computer and that you already have used the reg code on 2 computers. You will need to submit another ticket to get MTU to reset your reg code. Besure to include the computer name and last 4 of the reg code so they can identify it.
Also version 4.09 has the audio playback offset back in it that used to be in the versions 3.XX. It is in the Tools/Options section. This will help with your out of sync playback.
I would also suggest you do all the steps in the following link to get Vista to behave correctly. There are some other things we can suggest, but try this first. http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/hoster/v...de-hoster4.htm
