Rikki thank You for your wonderful imput, i'll just go back to my ole stand by JVC. I'm not even sure what you and dale are talking about. And there are others on here with more urgent issues then george's computer 101. I wouldn't know where to begin to make a restore point. The more i have been pondering this situation, i'm starting to think perhaps this new computer technology and software stuff just may not be for me. So, i have decided to just go back to disc, sell the laptop, and erase my hard drives. It's just too frustrating. But thank you all for your help, and wonderful friendship and patients with me.
