Hey Billy,
In Hoster 4.08 full there is no c:\mtu\hosterlite\ folder created so you won't see this issue.
Dale has reported this to MTU and they will get it fixed. As you just found out, it's not hard to work around.
Now that you have both Hosterlite and 3.40 working off of the files in the same folder, clear the songlist, create a new one and all should be fine. Odds are that playlist was made before you pointed both programs to the same folder.
