You shouldn't need to reboot, just close Hoster and re-open. It'll take ya about 10 or 15 seconds. You'll have to re-skip the things you had skipped.
A couple years ago I had to do this to take care of a crashing problem I was getting after 10 - 15 singer disk imports.
