Bob, just to rehash this a bit (and I read your previous thread). When you re-installed XP, did you do this from the MFG supplied disk? I am wondering if this is the cause because of a bad NTDLL.dll file. There are numerous places on the internet that you can download a copy for free. Just do a search for NTDLL and several will be listed. As Admin said in your previous thread this is a Windows file and Hoster doesn't over-write it with one of its own.
When you started getting the duplicate IDs, did you get any other error messages when you rebuild the database such as something about a field could not be empty?
The next thing I can think of to do is to compare the Duplicates log with the Songs.mdb. You will need Access for this and if you don't have it I will be glad to look at it for you if you wish. The comparison should show where the conflict is. Recently there has been another who had many duplicates show up in which by looking at the database I could tell that multiple disks had co-mingled in the same bookid give partial duplicates from more than one disk. Apparently he had used more than one computer to import with and used the same bookid over again. for some reason it didn't move either of the entire disks to a new number, but moved parts of each to a new one.
First thing though to me is find and fix the cause of the DLL error. Then work on the duplicates.
