The spec sheet when I ordered my laptop shows a 128mb ATi Radeon X1300 HyperMemory card.. The laptop reports 256mb when you pull it up. I guess it may just be on the edge of having enough memory...beats me ...What do you think? Is it time to spend some money??
It's that whole "Hypermemory" thing. It really only has 64mb. It "theoretically" dynamically changes as your need changes. The only problem is, it uses much slower system ram to make up the difference. I still think it might be worth a shot to upgrade the amount of system ram. It would be a lot cheaper. Try to get to 2gb of system ram. A 2 gb kit from crucial would run less than $50. Shop around though, it might be cheaper on NewEgg or Tiger. Go to Dell's site and look up your model # to see the specs of the ram and what the max is, then shop around.
