Have searched about six diffrent Forums on the Internet and can't find ANY reference or complaints that World Star is using any copy protection.
Also talked with several OPS in the Karaoke Channels of mIRC and they said they no of NO COPY PROTECTION BEING USED ON WORLD STAR.
That's all I can tell you as of todays date.
