Jim, you are right; we haven't heard any sync problems on XP.
Jim, I think your nuts!

But then I'm just the tired ol' Pres up since 12:48AM (yawn).
I don't know how Hoster would "adjust" to a system. That implies "learning" and the type of code that can "self modify" is today called a VIRUS! We don't have any files that could do what you are implying.
I think I understand where you are coming from; Hoster has a problem, you run it several times on the computer, and Hoster no longer has a problem.
I'd have to say there is something about the computer's Windows Registry that may be changing.
I'd run a Registry Cleaner program. I'm starting to think we should make a standard FAQ about this, and provide a link to a free cleaner program that we all know and trust will do the job.
Rick, please post back here what you discover. "Sync" problem reports are the kiss of death, and we don't thinki there is anything else we can do to preven this.
One other question, please tell us about your:
Processor Type (Intel/AMD, Celeron, Duron, P4, Core2Duo, etc.):
Processor Speed:
RAM:
Video RAM:
We have found that AMD processors can't do the same math that Intel's do cause Intel has a patent that AMD can't circumvent.
We also are starting to think that you may need at least a 2GB processor to run 4.0x. Don't know yet, and your stats will help us understand this more. For example, if you have a 1GB Celeron, that may be the problem.
Bryan (MTUSUPPORT) has identified that some of the cheaper HP laptops coming out now with Celerons just don't have the Umpft to do the job.
