You have two choices. Video card, which I doubt since the singer's display was ok. And the monitor itself. If you bought it somewhere locally or from a major store online then take it back to them.
These things are not going to take the rough handling that the older CRT monitors do. What has happened is probably inside the monitor some connections on the circuit board have been broken or cracked. One I had suddenly went to a purplish tone and was very hard to read. This told me the green color had gone out somehow.
Part of the problem may be how you transport your monitor. I use a plastic tub about 5" deep and large enough to fit the monitor in it face down with a towel under the screen. This protects it pretty well and we have been using the same monitor for a few years without any problems.
