Hi Brant

That is my point: You DO need to completely remove (deactivate) the video in VDJ for Hoster to utilize its video/graphics functions, which, in the simplest form is
playing and displaying a karaoke song.

And that is done (deactivate) simply by clicking the video tab previously mentioned.

Yes Brant your right as far as the version of Hoster your using, But that's not the case with the Hoster version that I'm currently using which is 4.5.

VDJ Tech said the same thing you did, go to config.

beleave me it was a lot of work for me to figure out this workaround that I discovered.

I was using Hoster 4.2 with just the Ctrl V switch and it always worked, now with Hoster 4.5 I need to do the 3 steps in my post after it's setUp.

I now have no problem playing music or video in VDJ while setting up Hoster.

I play a audio file in VDJ before starting the karaoke file in Hoster, then right at the audio intro of the karaoke file I start fading out VDJ background music with my controller.

The only thing better then that would be to be able to control both Hoster & VDJ? Wow Excuse me for day dreaming.

Thx Joe.....
