Your Computer must have the following before installing Hoster:

Windows XP and Vista: Hoster requires DirectX 9.0b or higher to run. See this Troubleshooting Guide to enable DirectX to run Hoster correctly and avoid the "Fire Events From Script Line 40" error.

These are the Requirements for running Hoster on XP and Vista if you don't have these requirement my suggestion would be to first uninstall hoster then do the required updates then reinstall hoster if you have the .net 3.5 uninstall and install .net 3.0 this should help you if not the only other option is wait on MTU to get to your ticket.
