Further news

I am running Hoster 4.03 on both xp and Vista Home on two separate laptops.

I use the XP as my main machine and the Vista as an emergency backup (not yet required! touch wood).

I have not extensively tested on Vista but this is what is happening on XP.

I can select a KMA song that has originally been imported from a zipped file. This file will play and show as HDZIP.

If the software is closed and then reopened the file still shows but is then identified as HDMPG3 and will not play!

The question is why does it do this?

Could this problem be fixed by proper recognition of file type?

This could be a question for ADMIN possibly.

What it means to me is that I have to re-import my files from the CD as I no longer have the original zip files. I have noticed that I can re-import disks over the top of the original KMA HDZIP file and will report on the results (I am doing this as I write.).

Is there a possibility of manually running HDZipFiles Converted?

Does this work only as you load each song into Hoster and not change the actual file?

There are as usuall more questions than answers.

Cheers in anticipation
