According to the programmers that work with me its because of changes in the applications to make the app. compatible with vista.

I understand now. I use Sound Forge 8 now. I've used Sound Forge since version 3 was relesed on Floppy discs.
Like Hoster it's an awesome program.
The few times I lost my cd burner working with the Hoster 4 betas, a system restore always put me back to good.
Wow, I sound like "The System Restore Kid" today.
I always try everything else before I use System Restore. In these two cases (net framwork 3.5 and losing the cd burner) I found that using System Restore was the fastest, most definate way to solve the porblem. I very seldomly do a System Restore.
