According to the Manual, all updates are required, but XP or requires WMP-9 or higher for XP. It also seems to depend on how old the machine is, as well as other things. My only point was if you are having problems with WMP-11 on XP, then it is OK to use WMP-9 per MTU.

Your recall is correct, I do not run videos in my show but I host Karaoke three nights a week and play guitar two nights. (This weekend I'm off, YEA!

I feel it is wise for all to try WMP 11 first because of my success with the Hoster 4. This is the point I'm trying to get accross.
