If your Vista is only 6 months old, you should be able to take it to where to bought it & have them fix it, if you don't know how. They should either fix it or give you another machine. There is no way that Hoster "fried" your hard drive!!!
Can you boot up so that you can do a "factory restore"?

If it willl not "boot up" on it's own, when you turn it on, can you access the CD-ROM? If so, you can put in the recovery disk & it can fix itself from there.
Did you follow ALL the Hoster "requirements" and turn
everything OFF that was suggested
before you installed Hoster? Sounds like a bunch of conflicts.
