Hey Bob,
It sounds like you have some files left from a previous version of Hoster that are confusing the program. Hoster 4.0X keeps it's files in the C:\MTU\... directory. If there is an old copy of the songs.mdb anywhere on your computer, it will confuse the program.

Go to the C:\Program Files\Micro Technologies Unlimited\Hoster folder, this is where the files were kept for most versions of Hoster 3.XXX. If I recall correctly there is a folder there that held all of the songs data, fiind it and delete it. Once it is deleted, (or you can save a copy on a jump drive if you want to be super safe) you should be able to rebuild your database and be ready to go.

If this doesn't get you going. these is an old copy of the song.mdb on your computer left from when MTU was adjusting for Vista. Find it, delete it and all should be fine.

I hope this helps

Jim
