kma files are the same and will work with any version.
You can go to tools and merge the files you import no matter where you put them, what I do is first get my kma files in a folder don't make any difference how many.
When you locate it through the merge tool, do double click it and be in the folder or it will merge all files on the drive.
Make sure the drive letter remains the same each time you plug it in, become adapt at changing that drive letter if it does not.
