Caution: Personal Opinion.

99% of the people who have huge libraries like this are pirates.

Ebay used to be rife with people selling hard drives loaded with 50, 75 or 100,000 songs. Thanks to honest KJ's most of those get shutdown soon after they are listed. I've seen a few websites dedicated to selling those hard drives and they don't usually stay up to long. This makes life difficult for the honest KJ's, the bars that hire them and the karaoke manufacturers - many of whom have shutdown or have had to scale way back on new stuff. Look at Sound Choice they used to have 4 or 5 new disks every month, sometimes twice a month, now were lucky if they have 1 new disk every other month.

Here on the forums when I see someone say they've got all these songs but can't figure out some simple computer operation I usually assume piracy and don't offer any help. I don't accuse anyone directly without evidence - I just don't offer help.

I know several KJ's who have been in this business since the beginning and who have only aquired fewer than 25,000 songs, so to see a newbie with 100,000 songs red flags sart flying.

Someday the government will aggresively start going after these people, hopefully I can hang on that long.

Recently on Ebay I purchased 6 CB manufactured SCDG's (about 3000 songs)for $120. I spent $40. for ripping software. This would be a good deal for newbies. It only netted me about 900 songs I didn't already have but it was still a good deal.
