Please read this whole post before you do anything, Thanks.
Be sure that your KMA files are not in any of the folders that you delete.
1. unistall whatever version of Hoster you are using
2. delete the C:\Program Files\Micro Technologies Unlimited\Hoster folder
3. delete the C:\MTU\Hoster folder.
4. reatart your computer and install 4.01 (If you upgraded from a previous version of hoster, you may have to install it then upgrade to 4.01. Try to install 4.01 with just your upgrade code first, I think it will work.)
This will give you a clean reastart of Hoster, you will have to set 4.01 up the way you like it from scratch. I'm not sure about the instabuttons.
If you started using the singer database, be sure to save the "singers.mdb" in the C:\MTU \Hoster folder. Put it in another folder or on a jump drive. Put it back into the C:\MTU\Hoster folder after your 4.01 install and your singer database will show up.
HINT:
If you are unsure of what files to keep, save the folders in steps 2. and 3. on a jump drive berfore you delete them. Be sure the jump drive is unplugged fronm the computer while you install and setup 4.01.
I believe you can get 4.01 up and running for your show.
If this does not work for you, do as suggested by Skybird and go back to a version previous to Hoster 4.
